Convenience Retail Asia picks William Fung as chairman of the board

Outgoing chair Victor Fung will retire to devote more time to other commitments.

William Fung Kwok Lun will assume the role of Convenience Retail Asia’s (CRA) chairman of the board following the retirement of Victor Fung Kwok King from the position by its annual general meeting on 26 May, the company revealed in a bourse filing.

Victor Fung has decided not to stand for re-election and will retire from the board with effect from the conclusion of the AGM due to the need to devote more time to other commitments within and outside the Fung Group.

William Fung is currently a non-executive director of the company’s board.

CRA is one of the retail companies of the Fung Group, operating a total of 130 retail stores under the Saint Honore Cake Shop, Mon cher and Zoff brands in Hong Kong, Macau and Guangzhou and is expanding to the Greater Bay Area, according to its website.
