AirAsia's food delivery platform expands to Singapore

It offers a one-month commission rate of 8% to merchants signing up before 1 March.

Malaysian low-cost airline AirAisa’s food delivery platform airasia food is expanding into Singapore, looking to offer the lowest commission rate of as low as 8% for March, according to a press release.

Calling on F&B operators across Singapore to sign up as merchants, airasia food is offering those signing up before 1 March a special sign-on rate of 8% for March. The normal commission rate charged by airasia food is 15%.

AirAsia Food said it runs on flat-rate plans, as well as an immediate online sign up with no contracts or forms required, ability to talk directly to customers, build a database, and reach more customers.

Merchants can also get support from an account manager who will assist in bringing the F&B business online, provide system support on data analytics and monitoring. They can also leverage airasia food’s marketing and periodic campaigns.

The company is also calling on businesses in the beauty, cosmetics, fashion, fresh produce, and hotel sectors to register their interest as the AirAsia app targets to also expand its e-commerce services in Singapore soon.
