Vietnam's retail sales up 6.1% in October

At the same time, consumer prices rose 2.52%.

The retail sales of goods and services in Vietnam rose 6.1% in October, according to data from the General Statistics Office (GSO). For the 10M 2020, sales climbed 1.3% YoY to $177.43b (4,125t). Excluding the price factor, sales dipped 3%.

Over the same period, core inflation of consumer prices was at 2.52%. In October, prices edged up 0.07% MoM.

The retail sales include revenues and sales from commercial establishments; products of production establishments and farmers; services of accommodation, catering, and tourism; and services by organizations and individuals.
