Products in the stores will soon be available through online channels.
Variety store chain Miniso has expressed plans to open unmanned stores in China in a bid to accelerate the brand’s digital transformation and embrace online channels, CEO Ye Guofu revealed in a press release.
The products in the unmanned store will soon be available on all of the company’s online channels including its self-owned online stores, WeChat mini-programs, and flagship stores on major e-commerce platforms.
At the same time, Miniso is looking to further strengthen its e-commerce channels in key overseas markets.
Miniso is also aiming to open more stores, mostly in tier 3 cities and even rural areas. For the overseas market, it will continue its expansion plans in countries with populations of at least 50 million, namely India, Indonesia, United States, Colombia, Mexico, Egypt, and Spain.
