The store will integrate a food court with a Japanese supermarket.
Japanese grocery store chain MEIDI-YA is opening a flagship concept store at Singapore's Millenia Walk Shopping Mall on 28 November, the company announced in a Facebook post.
The two-storey store will be the company's new concept store, offering a Japanese concept bakery and a liquor specialty store with a focus on Japanese Sake. It will also offer a lineup of products imported directly from Japan.
It will particularly offer Japanese fruits and vegetables, meat, fresh and sushi among many other offerings. It will also be the first in Singapore to have integrated a food court with a Japanese supermarket.
In addition, a beer garden and terrace will allow customers to drink beers together with any food or snacks purchased from the store.
