Anime store Hakken opens physical store in Singapore

The store offers a 10% sitewide discount until 31 January.

Anime-themed online retail store Hakken has launched a brick-and-mortar store in Singapore at Plaza Singapura on 16 January, the store announced through its social media channel.

To maintain social distancing and adhere to pandemic regulations, the store only allows 60 people to be inside at any given time, and queue numbers were issued to manage the crowd. Hakken also requires customers to use TraceTogether for conducting contact tracing.

The physical store also offers a 10% off storewide grand opening promotion until 31 January. In celebration of its successful launch, the store extended the promotion storewide to its customers online as well.

Hakken is an online retail store by anime licensor MUSE Communication specialising in anime goods, aiming for a retail experience that integrates online shopping and events held at malls in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
