Malaysian shoppers in Klang Valley can now use foodpanda's platform to order from Tesco's stores in 11 location following a partnership between the food delivery platform and grocery retailer, IGD reported.
Through the partnership, shoppers can choose from 3,000 items ranging from fresh produce to groceries, and have it delivered within 40 minutes. Tesco is also aiming to expand with foodpanda into other parts of Malaysia later in the year.
The government has placed several states under a second lockdown as the total number of COVID-19 cases surpassed 30,000. The retailer aims to provide an option for shoppers to get their groceries without leaving their house.
