Guidelines and Pricing

GUIDELINES

1. Nomination is open to all FMCG companies with offices and operations in Asia. 
2. Each company may submit a maximum of three (3) entries.
3. Each nomination form is valid for one category only. If you are nominating in several categories, please fill out the forms separately.
4. Nomination is free of charge. If you win, you are obliged to proceed booking the winner’s package to maximize the benefits of your win. Scroll down to see the winner's package options.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Nomination is open to all FMCG companies with offices and operations in Asia.
  • Consumer Good of the Year category - The nominated product must demonstrate significant success or accomplishments achieved in the last 24 calendar months.

  • Project categories - The initiative must be launched within the last 24 calendar months, either in part or full. If launched prior to 24 calendar months, it remains eligible if recent developments or upgrades were made.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

The entries will be reviewed by the judges based on the following criteria:

For Consumer Good of the Year:

  • Branding - Is the product aligned with the company’s mission and vision and fulfils the brand’s promise?

  • Unique Selling Point - Does the product have a unique value proposition that makes customers choose it over others?

  • Product Effectiveness - Does the product contribute to the company’s growth and achieve its targets (i.e. sales turnover)?

  • Customer Satisfaction - Does the product meet or surpass customers' expectations? Was there growth in customer count?

For Project categories:

  • Uniqueness & Innovation - Does the project introduce new or cutting-edge innovation?

  • Success & Impact - Did the project successfully achieve its objectives and targets using proper assessment measures? Was there an impact on the company and industry?

  • Dynamism - Is the project open to changes and progressive opportunities?

HOW TO ENTER?

  1. Go to the online nomination form and read the nomination guidelines.

  2. Fill out the form with the following:

    • Company details

    • Entrant (person-in-charge) details

    • Chosen category

    • 500-word write-up about the product or project

    • Three key achievements of the product or project

    • Client feedback or Testimonials

    • Chosen winner’s package option

  3. Wait for the nomination confirmation email and acknowledge it once received.

  4. Submit photos and supporting documents.

Note:

  • Each company may submit a maximum of three (3) entries.

  • Each nomination form is valid for one category only. If you are nominating in several categories, please fill out the forms separately.

  • Nomination is free of charge. If you win, you are obliged to proceed booking your chosen winner’s package option.

WINNER'S PACKAGE PRICING

Nomination is free. If your company wins, you are obliged to proceed booking one of the following winner’s package options to maximise the promotional benefits of your win:

  • Licensed use of the FMCG Asia Awards 2021 logo on all your marketing materials
  • Courier of award trophy

All the options above include the full rights to the post-processed award presentation and interview video and press release write-up for your own use and/or distribution. The logo can be used for marketing or advertising collaterals and campaigns, email signature, website, etc. to further build company's prestige.


*Due to the pandemic, this year's awarding and interviews with winning companies will be held virtually through digital award presentations. Trophies will be couriered to the winning companies' addresses.

How do I nominate?

You can submit an entry via the online nomination form where you have to provide details about your company and a 500-word writeup about the initiative that you wish to nominate. For step-by-step guidelines on how to produce an award-winning entry, click here.

How many winners per category?

The categories are country-level. There will be one winning company per country in each category.

Can I send two or more entries for our company?

You may submit a maximum of three (3) entries in either different or same categories. One online form is equivalent to one entry so if you are nominating multiple entries, please enter them separately.

What can I nominate?

You may nominate outstanding products or projects that were launched within the last 24 calendar months. If launched prior to 24 calendar months, it remains eligible provided that recent developments, improvements, or upgrades were made.

Will there be an awards dinner this year?

Given the current situation with COVID-19, rest assured that our priority remains that of our guests and their safety. In place of the physical awards dinner, Retail Asia will be conducting an online awards presentation and video interview with winners through video-conferencing.
