Chris Hughes is the Head of Digital Merchant Products, Asia Pacific at Visa. He is responsible for leading the team of Visa’s specialists in eCommerce and multi-channel commerce - servicing acquiring banks, processors, merchants, marketplaces and digital platforms, enabling them for digital commerce. This includes Visa’s acquisition of the Cybersource payment management platform and fraud management solutions (Visa acquired in 2010).
Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services, software and Telco services across Asia Pacific, the US and Australia. Prior to this, he was head of Merchant Sales & Solutions in Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific at Visa. He has held a number of key positions in multinational corporations prior to Visa, including Regional Vice President & General Manager Asia Pacific at Transaction Network Services (TNS), and was an Advisory Board Member of the Live Group, an independent, Australian payments processor.
Chris has a Assoc. Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a graduate of the Australian Insititute of Company Directors. In his spare time he enjoys keeping current with technology trends and world affairs, along with spending time travelling and cycling in various, iconinc destinations and lastly spending time wth his wife Andie and daughter Ruby (10yo). Chris relocated with Visa from Sydney to Singapore in October 2017.

Girish Ramachandran is the President of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the strategy, growth and business operations in Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN, Greater China and South Korea.
He joined TCS in 1994 and has held multiple leadership positions across key parts of the business around the world. He spent 9 years as the Head of TCS Europe where he developed strong client relationships, with disciplined focus on operations and execution, enabling TCS Europe to achieve record growth in revenues and margins. Girish then headed TCS’ Middle East, Africa and the Mediterranean region after which he was Corporate Vice-President in the CEO’s office in Mumbai where he rolled out strategic global initiatives, setting the tone for TCS’ rapid growth.
Girish also serves on the board of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) based in Amsterdam, a pioneer in global sustainability reporting. He is also a member of CII International Council and serves on the International Board of Nyenrode University in Netherlands. He is a recipient of the Frans Banninck Cocq Medal from the Mayor of Amsterdam, in recognition of his meritorious service to the city of Amsterdam. He was appointed Business Champion for New Colombo Plan by the Australian Government and was recognized with the “Leading CEO” award by the Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI) in 2018.
